Biography

Mary Louise (M.L.) McClure was born in 1857. Born in England, McClure developed an interest in history. She translated several works regarding the history of Egypt and its surrounding areas into English. She also translated The Pilgrimage of Etheria into English. This work chronicled a woman’s journey to the Holy Land. McClure died on July 20, 1918.
