Biography

Alfred Clair (A.C.) Underwood was born in 1885. His education led to an M.A. and Doctorate of Divinity. Underwood was the principal of Rawdon College of Leeks. Based on the books he authored, Underwood was interested in comparing religions. He particularly wrote about Shintoism as practiced in Japan. He also wrote Conversion: Christian and Non-Christian; a Comparative and Psychological Study. Underwood died in 1948.
