Food for the Lambs; or, Helps for Young Christians

Food for the Lambs is a devotional guide for young children. Written by Charles E. Orr, this series of readings is meant to strengthen the faith and knowledge of boys and girls as they embark on their spiritual journey. The book is subtitled, Helps For Young Christians.” A broad range of topics is contained in this book. Topics such as “The Will”, “Morality,” “Reverie,” and “On Fruit Bearing” are written about as food for the soul. Several poems are scattered throughout this book also. The final writing in the book is a poem regarding death as the end of this earthly journey.
