The Bible College teacher also commented - I came across a site the other day where someone was talking about the effect the J.B. Phillips translation had had on them, and then lamenting the fact that it could not be got over the Internet. ........ I came across another site which was offering the Bible for download to people in China (now there's a significant wee group of people). The grand irony was that the site, offering the Bible in Chinese and English, could offer it in traditional and modern Chinese, but only in the Authorised Version in English.
