Southern Harmony

This will eventally be an on-line edition of Southern Harmony, the classic American hymnal that introduced hymns such as Wondrous Love Eventually, I hope it will contain hymn texts, midi files, and printable PDF sheet music -- that it will be, as much as possible, a usable web version of the hymnal. The information will be stored in a database for generating index and HTML pages and for searching. Peter Irvine is entering the midi files and Vic Johanson is typing in the texts.

Is anyone interested in entering a few of the more important hymns into a program like Finale, printing them as postscript files, and sending them to me for conversion to pdf and for putting on the web? Email me at Xhplantin@calvin.edu (delete the X first).
