This is the place where I will list all known on going projects of the users and creators of the Online Bible.  This way, we will prevent people from overlapping each others work.  If you are working on something for the Online Bible please email me and let me know so that I can post that fact here.  Also, if you are looking for help on a project of some sort, let me know and I'll post a message here with that request. Be aware that because of the fact that these are private projects and are generally done in conjunction with personal bible study, this list will never be either complete or an indicator as to when a particular project will be completed.

Current On Going Projects:

  • St. Augustin's Homilies, Tracates and Expositions.  (Jonathan Dixon)  1 John has been completed thus far.   Added: February 22nd, 2000.  If you want to help, please let me know.
  • Chrysostom's Homilies - Matthew 1-12, Galatians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon, and Hebrews 1-2 are completed thus far.  (Jonathan Dixon)  January 17th, 2000.  If you want to help, please let me know.
  • Gary's Grammar Uses of the New Testament. This is in the form of a bible version showing the the way verbs in a participle or infinitive tense are used when translated. Also

    • the way noun uses when translated. This is a very literal translation from the BYZ lectures. Also included variants reading from TR.. Matthew and John are currently done, more to follow. (Gary Gallant) Added 12.12.01
  • The Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge. (Gary Gallant) Currently the A's are done. Added 12.12.01.
  • Socrates Ecclesiastical History. Books 1 & 2 completed thus far.  (Jonathan Dixon)  November 16th, 1999.  If you want to help, please let me know.
  • Thompson's Chain Reference Noteset. (Ernie Spillman) This is a project to tie the 1934 Thompson's Chain Topics to a commentary-style jumplist, much as they presently have in the Macintosh version of the program, but with the added benefit of additional content, such as contextual pictures and maps. Due to the fact that this covers the whole bible with many entries, I have no idea when it will be completed (presently 5%). (Added 12.12.01).
  • Various John Bunyan books. (Ernie Spillman) One of my on-going projects to add wholesome christian liturature to the database.
  • Various copyrighted Bible Versions. (Ernie Spillman) This is a project to add all known bible versions to the Olb. I need some help, if you are willing to commit to writing copyright holders seeking permission for a freely downloadable Olb version of thier work, please send me an e-mail. (Added 12.12.01).
  • Calvin's Commentaries and Institues.  (Bruce Lambert)  These will be released as soon as they are complete. (Added: 10.30.1999) Pastor Jay Lobach has also been doing some work on these from the CCEL version.
  • Bengel's Daily Homilies.  (Bruce Lambert) If you are interested in helping out, please send Bruce an email.   (Added: 10.30.1999)
  • Matthew Poole's Commentary on the Old Testament.  (Anonymous)  Only about 85% complete. Too early to make a guess at completion date.  (Added: 09.14.1999)
  • Vincent's Word Studies in the New Testament. (Pastor Jay Lobach) Matthew and Romans are currently done, no guess as to completion time. (Added 12.12.01)
