Are We Living in the Last Days?

Do you read any of the news? The Gaza Strip has been taken over by Hamas, the militant Islam group. The president of Iran has vowed to wipe out Jews and Christians and talks about the return of the Mahdi, the second coming of their prophet. If you read Matthew 24 where Jesus talks about the signs of the last days, many things have been fulfilled or are being fulfilled. Perhaps you believe in the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, or not? What does it matter but that we are ready like the wise virgins in the parable of the foolish and wise virgins? We must ask ourselves "What am I doing today that will have eternal value and make me a useful vessel for my Master, Jesus Christ?" Perhaps you are like I once was, many times 'caught up with the cares of this world'. Then one day I prayed 'do whatever it takes, Lord, to make me on fire for you again.' The Lord was faithful to answer my prayer in a way I never expected. My prayer is that I have challenged you to wake up and seek God's perfect will, or maybe even to be bold enough to pray the Lord will do 'whatever it takes' in your life to make you on fire for Jesus!

The Lord Will Purge the Church at His Coming for the Bride

St Paul was taught by the Lord Jesus during his three years in the desert of Arabia near Mt Sinai, the doctrine of the rapture. St Paul wrote of it in his letters, particularly in Thessalonians.

There are different groups the Lord addresses in scripture. Careful study with Bible teachers will help you understand this. In the Olivet Discourse(Mt 24), He is addressing His Jewish disciples concerning the signs of the end, their role in evangelizing the whole house of Israel and what to be watching for. Israel has the leading role again after the Church has been raptured.

The Lord will purge the Church; He is coming for His bride
the perfected Church, without spot or wrinkle, dressed in white linen, which is the righteous deeds of the saints. Washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb.

Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.

Malachi: He comes as a refining fire.

Matthew 2:11-12 John the Baptist said of Him, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clear out and clean His threshing floor and gather and store His wheat in His barn, but the chaff He will burn up with fire that cannot be put out.

Malachi 3:1-3 But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.

If He begins with the church, who shall stand at His coming?
1 Peter 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18And,
"If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?"[a]

In the messages to the seven churches, the Lord admonishes them to repent, to overcome, for He is coming soon.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather from His kingdom everything that causes sin and those guilty of lawlessness. They will throw them into the blazing furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s kingdom. Anyone who has ears should listen! Holman Christian Standard Bible

Rev 2:17 To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

[Overcome: the doctrine of Balaam who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, [to eat from the forbidden fruit], to practice lewdness….also those that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans [witchcraft, spells, incantations, manipulations, dissembling, things that lead to spiritual death] Hath God Said?

Rev 2:20 Thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which called herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her a space to repent of her fornication and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts.

But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not explored and known the depths of Satan, as they say – I tell you that I do not lay upon you any other burden; only hold fast to what you have until I come.

Pastors,
Please do a presentation of the necessity of overcoming, of the Lord's purging of the Church at His coming for His bride. Matthew 13:41, Malachi 3, Revelation 2-3 indicate the Lord will cleanse his threshing floor with fire, and send his angels to gather from His kingdom everything that causes sin and those guilty of lawlessness. Rev 2 and 3 speak of the Nicolaitans and Jezebel, and I think this is referring to sorcery and witchcraft, partaking of forbidden fruit, in the body of Christ, that He will kill them with death and the righteous will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. This is coming. The righteous are under heavy fire from witchcraft in my area. Encourage your viewers to sanctify their homes, send up intercessory prayer, draw a blood line around their children and the schools. The Lord Himself shall purge the church at His coming. God bless you.
