Happy Thanksgiving.

So much!
Dan,
Thanks for posting this request.
First and foremost, I am thankful for the salvation I received as a teenager many years ago. And I'm thankful that salvation was only the starting point of God's plan for my life. The many relationships we enter into with Him are just fathomless -- the church, the body of Christ, brothers and sisters in His family, etc., etc., etc.
I am thankful for a spouse who came into my life during a particularly down time of my life and encouraged me in a revitalized life with Christ when my tendancy was to back away from Him. And then there are three adult offspring who are so vastly different from each other you would think they grew up in different families -- each one of them a special blessing from the Lord.
During a period of downturned economy and seeing the havoc of lost jobs, I am thankful for steady employment and a source of income. My wife had to leave work due to disability and was without an income for three years before getting her disability retirement income started. Our Father in heaven got us through a very trying financial time.
I am thankful for CCEL, the vast and growing library of excellent literature. What a wonderful opportunity to read the thoughts and Scriptural interpretation of some of the finest minds of the centuries past. As a proofreader, I get to accomplish two things at the same time -- improve the textual quality by correcting clerical problems, and get a wonderful education at a price we all can afford (FREE).
These are just a few of many, many blessings beyond number.
