Who died on the Cross?

Hi all,

At our mid week bible study the Pastor said that God (as in the second person of the Trinity) died on the Cross. Instinctively I believed that to be wrong, and so I checked it out, first from the Word and then from trusted sources, I ended up with R.C.Sproul saying that it was impossible for God (the second person of the Trinity) to die, and John Macarthur said that God did die on the cross.I'm hoping that someone could shed some light on the subject.

Thank you

respond to god dies on the cross my correction

in christ dwelleth all the fullness of the godhead bodily, father son and holy spirit are the three essentials of the one god, like body soul and operation in man, son of god is meant divine good, and son of man is meant divine truth in regards to the word, the divinity from eternity and the human body in time suffered together, they could not have been fully golrified and become one if they did not suffer together, they all rose together at the same time, jehovah just added a natural body to what he already had from eternity,...... think about it more deeply, amen god bless. the first and the last the beginning and the end,

(GAP) GOD ANSWERS PRAYER.ONE'S HEART SPEAK'S LOUDER THEN ONE'S INTELLECT,WITHOUT THE RICH HEART WEALTH IS AN UGLY BEGGER,Father Son and Holy Spirit,Are the three essentials of the one God,Like body soul and operation in man.
