Paint Me A Picture

Clay's picture

I am curious about your God. So paint me a picture if you would please?

**Does God become angry? ( with you or with the insufferable transgressions of society)
**Is God impatient with some?
**Does God experience anxiety? Regret? Indecision?
**Will He become frustrated?
**Does God hear everything?
**Is His power to perform proportional to your righteousness?

Does the Bible define God or does it define mankind? Does God have a frame of reference? Are words relevant to Him? Can time sequentially number His steps? Did He ever learn anything of what He knows right now? Does He seek counsel? Is He curious?

Regards,

Clay

A God to be feared

I believe in a God that is to be feared.
He is too wise to figure out, too powerful to think you can get away sinning
To everywhere to get away from. Too loving to not know whats going on, caring to leave the world unattended.

God does things without asking your permission, He moves without our consent, He delays in our fears and allows us to suffer when He could easily deliver. His plan is too big, too comprehensive to grasp with our finite minds.

In short we have God that is not managable, not controllable, not able to be figured out, not
easily pegged. MY God is paradoxical, He is God without my permission, injects His will and counsel without approving my plans.

The God I know is completely sovereign and commands that I bend to His will and not vise versa..

My God has reward and pleasure infinitely past finding out, and punishments and wrath infinitely past comprehension.
