The Year of Jubilee

Brother Edd,

I don't know if all Jews observe Jubilee after 49 years have passed.

But this was part of G-d's Law found in The Torah. It is The Way we should live as Christians as well. Are we not grafted into The Roots of living out our lives G-d's Way today as Christians?

Yeshua(Jesus) pointed out that we should remember that not one jot or tittle of The Torah, from Matthew 5:18, from The King James Bible,

V18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

What was Yeshua(Jesus) saying about The Laws of G-d? That we should not observe them? No, He was saying that nothing, not even the smallest part of punctuation should be removed. Everything was still in effect within The Laws of G-d found in The Torah, The first five books of The Bible.

This is part of The Teachings of Yeshua(Jesus). We as Christians forget He said that and find we forget most of what He said we are to do.

We as Christians and Jews are to be Doers of The Law of G-d! Yeshua pointed this out with His statement in The Great Commandment of G-d, which also follows Hillel's point on The Law of G-d as well. It is all about Loving G-d more than any thin we do and to love our Neighbor as we love ourself.

But you see living The Law is easy if you are being directed by The Holy Spirit. When we have Committed our ways unto do things G-d's Way, then we have already started the process of listening to G-d and following and doing what He as asked us to do!

It is first started when G-d opens up our Spiritual Eyes to our sin and separation from Him. It progresses when we Confess of sin to Him. We grow Spiritually as we read and listen to what G-d's Word is saying to our spirit and heart. This is not done on one Special Day a year or on only once in our life. It is an every-day occurrence in the lives of those who Follow G-d's Ways!

G-d is The Only Righteousness we will ever have. He is The ONE who establishes any Righteousness that we will ever see in our living for Him. He IS The ONE who is able to keep us walking in His Righteousness! We have nothing in and of ourselves to show as Righteousness. We are as filthy rags before a Holy and Righteous G-d
