Nehemiah 10:3, More of The Leadership Who Signed The Covenant

Let's look at our verse with The Hebrew names and then we will go over the Transliteration into English from Strong's, to find the English meaning.

V3 Pashur, Amariah, Malchijah,
Nehemiah 10:3

V3 Pashur, Strong's #H6583, Amariah, Strong's #H568, Malchijah, Strong's #H4441,
From Strong's Numbers, Nehemiah 10:3

The first name is Pashur, Strong's #6583, פַּשְׁחוּר, Transliteration: Pashchuwr, Phonetic Spelling: pash-khoor', Hebrew Meaning: liberation; Pashchur, the name of four Israelites. From Strong's #6582, פָּשַׁח, pashach, paw-shakh', Original Root Meaning: to tear in to pieces or to pull in pieces, or torn me to pieces.
So Pashur means Liberation

The second Hebrew name is Amariah, Strong's #568, אֲמַרְיָה; Transliteration: Amaryahu or Amaryah, or Amaryahuw and Amarjah; Phonetic Spelling: am-ar-yaw',Amariah or Amaryahuw, Am-ar-yaw'-hoo; Originally Meaning: promised.

From Amar and Yah. Amar, Strong's #559, אָמַר, Transliteration: amar, Phonetic Spelling: aw-mar', to say, used with great latitude: said, speak, answer, command, tell, call, promised, appoint, avouch, bid, boast or self certify, challenge, declare, and many more. G-d Speaks, in Genesis 9:8 and 22:2, amar is Authoritative and Devine Speach, such as "Thus saith The L-rd", The Devine Power. Original Root Meaning: to give an answer.

And from Yah, Strong's #3050, יָהּ, Transliteration: Yah, Phonetic Spelling: Yaw, Short Definition: Jah, YHVH, The Name of The G-d of Israel. Jah, The Lord. Contraction for Yhovah, and meaning the same; Jah, the Sacred Name, Jah, The L-rd, most vehement. Strong's #3068, יְהֹוָה, Transliteration: YHVH, the proper name of The G-d of Israel, Phonetic Spelling: yeh-ho-vaw', Short Definition: Jehovah.

So we have: G-d Speaks with Divine Power or G-d gives The Answer and Thus Saith The L-rd.

The third Hebrew name Malchijah or Malkiyahuw and Malchijah, Strong's #4441, מַלְכִּיָּה, Transliteration: Malkiyyah or Malkiyahu, Phonetic Spelling: mal-kee-yaw', Short Definition: Malchiah, my King is Yah, the name of a number of Israelites. From Strong's #4428, The King, and Strong's #3050, YHVH, G-d, L-rd.

So Malchijah, My King is G-d or My King is The L-rd.
