ALL TOGETHER PRAYING....

Maria Smith's picture

I would like to make a request from all who are members of this prayer group. This request was given me by a member and I think it is a great idea.

We always want to keep all our members in prayers for their needs...be it temporal or not. We need to pray for each other's needs-even if a dollar short to make the rent.

Since we cannot know what is going on all the time, maybe by us following a specific time for this type of prayer, we can do each other so much good.

I would like for every FRIDAY (day of the week Jesus offered Himself up) all of us to select a time slot that is convenient for you to pray: 6am, 9am, 12 noon, 3pm, 6pm or 9pm. Let me know by email if you this this is a good idea. The thought of everyone taking a small moment out of their day to pray of the needs of this group is a very worthwhile, selfless, project. It means we love each other.

Below is a prayer you may use if you like or one of your own if just fine also. Thank you!

Dear Jesus, Magnificent Lord:

We thank You for all Your blessings and mercy. Lord, we approach You today for help to
our brothers and sisters in need. Many are struggling spiritually - please send them
enlightenment, peace, and the Holy Spirit to take them out of confusion. Allow the right
people in their path to restore them to the truth and walk with You on the right path.

We pray for so many of our brothers and sisters suffering from lack of what is necessary to
live properly: food, shelter, lack of work. We pray Lord, that You will help them our or the
crisis they are going through today. Restore their homes. Help them find work.

We pray for all those with a combination of losing their souls through drugs, alchohol - please
provide a person to intervene and lead them out of destruction.

Oh, our dear Savior and King-
without You we are nothing. All things are possible with You! Here we are together, praying in
earnest for the needs of our brothers and sisters and we know that whenever two or more meet -You
are there in the midst of them. Then Lord, we place our trust in You! You are full of Mercy-
this is one of Your greatest attributes!

We ask this through Your Precious Blood and Sorrowful Passion! Amen.

Thank you

Kind of you to take time and reply to my idea. agree that it would be hard to do on here.
Think that it is necessary for us to pray daily for service people, police, fire personal, emts, students leaders and the persecuted church daily by all here. All are in danger of dying daily, some more than others, and need to be under the drawing hand of the Father to Jesus as well as protection/strength.

Have a friend who is a commander in the British air force. Often he will tell me that a young man has died or several. In Greensboro, NC, there were seven teens killed over a week. No young person thinks that they hit "middle age" from 7--11. There have been more Christians martyered in the last hundred years than in the previous 19 centuries. The leaders of any country are there by the will of God. Some are good and need wisdom to make the right decisions. Others are in need of a touch from God to change. The ones who come to our aid daily if needed are in need of guidance, wisdom and protection for they are willing to give their lives for all in their daily job possibly. Israel is our duty to keep in prayer always as stated in the Bible.

God's protection,
