The Ascension

Yesterday (or last Thursday), Liturgical Churches celebrated the Ascension; i.e., the point when 40 days after the Ressurection, Jesus ascended bodily into heaven. What do y'all think are the implications for that? Do you think of Jesus as still having His ressurected body? Do you think we'll have bodies in heaven?

Dualism defined
Dualism is the philosophical or relgious idea that two fundamental concepts exist, which are seen to be opposites or at odds with each other, and that these can exist in the same entity or area of study. Examples would include - good and evil or light and dark.
Dualism comes from the tendency of mankind to more easily understand the world by dividing it into two categories. It is often said there are two types of people in the world, those who put everything into categories and those who don't. :)
Dualism is a view about the relationship between mind and matter, or spirit and matter; and claims that neither the soul/spirit nor body can be reduced to each other in any way. JRoberts would be taking the monistic (mono = single) view point when he equates the two (body and soul/spirit) and I would be taking the dualistic (dual = two) position by saying they are not inseparable.
Of course with words like mind, spirit, soul and body all up for their own interpretation and definition we can find people who are more pluralistic (see many sides to the debate) than being strictly dualistic, since they see each of these four as distinct.
Hope this helps.
