Judith,

That is a Truth that seems to be lost in the past. When we study the past works of righteous people we find out how close they are to what is Truth, G-d's Truth.

The Mystical Ways of drawing close to G-d have their roots in the Jewish idea of setting oneself aside to hear what G-d is saying to His People.

I do know that many denominations block out the power of G-d working today by His Holy Spirit, which is a sin in itself to even say by leadership who have studied and then say that G-d doesn't do it that way today.

It is when we search for The Truth, that we really find what we are looking for. G-d has promised that to all who search the Scripture for it, "It Will be Found of You".

Thank you for putting it in terms we all can Understand and agree with you on.

The search for The Mystical approach to knowing the closeness of G-d is still found but you must seek out those who are presenting it openly and in public meetings that are advertised locally in your area.
