What happens to our spirits/souls after out last incarnation?

johntoh's picture

What is the determining factor? I'd assume it's after the Universe feels our spirits are evolved enough, and has learned all the lessons to learn.

What happend later? Do we get to create our own Universe else where? Do we become spirit guides?

I guess the possibilities are endless...

Care to share??

Love & Light!

that's fair enough

I don't really want to get into the whole deal with Nodenom, because as a newcomer you might not be aware of the extensive attacks Nodenom has launched against people who don't agree with him--his recent comments attacking Catholics and Baptists as totally incapable of representing Christ are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to why people might be hostile towards him and ask him to actually explain the claims that he makes. (Hey, I got into the whole deal with Nodenom after all).

The forums attract a wide variety of posters, and many of them are here primarily for the purpose of discussing technical issues of doctrine and faith; some groups exist primarily for spiritual exploration and discussion--the groups on mysticism have been especially good for that, and you strike me as a person who might be interested in those discussions. On the other hand, some people honestly believe that by arguing with someone and crushing them intellectually they can be won to Christ, or at least to a branch of Christianity. Since that is not my hope, I hope also that I'm not guilty of that kind of thinking.

You and I have a lot in common. Also, I apologize for the unfair title of my early post. This is not a "silly" debate to watch--it's just a smidge ironic, from (as a wizened saint once said) "a certain point of view."

You search the scriptures;
For in them ye think ye have eternal life:
These are those which testify of me.
But ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
(John 5.39-40)
