i think that the power you are looking for is his power over creation. he created all with his word by speaking it and he can control it the same way. like the potter making a pot molding it into the shape he desires. by the power he saves us from our sin. he is that master of creation and thhus his word is his power.

The gentle soft word is heard over the shout.
