Nehemiah Chapter 2, Nehemiah Is Sent To Judah At His Request
The Prophet Nehemiah, Cup Bearer of The King, Artaxerxes of Persia, at his own request is sent to Judah to repair the damages to The City of David's Walls and Gates. Along with doing the work he is also wanting to repair the graves of his fathers that are also damaged.
There is always Opposition to any good work and now we have Sanballat The Horonite and his servant Tobiah The Ammonite who are in opposition to the Restoration of Jerusalem's Walls and Gates. Sanballat is the Governor of Samaria and is the major theme in The Book of Nehemiah.
