Changes in RCC teaching

This is one area that I find quite troubling...
Changes in Teaching? I hope this is not too controversial. If it is, please remove my post.

I am not longer in the RCC and disagree with many things in the church and in the article/link below...some would consider me a heretic.

One will say for instance that I am "seperated bretheran" Another pope in the past would say that I am "condemned"

One would say that my children would have been in "Limbo" if passed away and not baptized.... Another time later, it would be said that it no longer is the teaching or that it never was the teaching...

I have read lots of history and many differences over 1000's of years in this teaching. No mudslinging intented.

There is certainly plenty of evidence of contradictions.

Here is one example:

This papal bull is as official as they can get. It is an “infallible” pronouncement of Catholic doctrine. The Pope who wrote it is on his way to becoming a canonized saint or perhaps he already is by now. Pope John Paul II beatified him on September 3, 2000.[11] Beatification is the last step before canonization.

We declare, pronounce, and define that the doctrine which holds that the most Blessed Virgin Mary, in the first instance of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege granted by Almighty God, in view of the merits of Jesus Christ, the Savior of the human race, was preserved free from all stain of original sin, is a doctrine revealed by God and therefore to be believed firmly and constantly by all the faithful.

****Hence, if anyone shall dare**** -- which God forbid! -- to think otherwise than as has been defined by us, let him know and understand that he is *condemned* by his own judgment; that he has suffered shipwreck in the faith; that he has separated from the unity of the Church; and that, furthermore, by his own action he incurs the penalties established by law if he should are to express in words or writing or by any other outward means the errors he think in his heart*******************

How can I be condemned and just seperated?

The Holy Scriptures are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15

Beware lest anyone cheat you

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. Colosians 2:8-10

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel *of Christ, for it is the power of God to SALVATION FOR EVERYONE WHO BELIEVES, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by FAITH."*

Hello Maria :), I will probably not answer in the way that you expect me to and you may find no need for what I give, but I believe that the Lord has led me on what scriptures to say based on your response and all I am to do is put it here. It is a Bible study I did today on this conversation. Sorry if I do not write out all the scriptures and excuse my sketchiness and all the mistakes I make. I am so far from articulate...Thank you again for your kind words and Blessings upon you this Glorious Easter!

I will diligently pray for you and your family tonight and for reconcilliation if needed in your family(not sure if that is needed) I will pray for you and your husband and your children that all come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that everyone grows in this grace and spends eternity with Him. I will pray that your lives are Blessed by Him! I will also pray for your health and that your lungs will improve and all glory given to God for your healing.

As I have said before, you are always welcome to email me as I seldom come here as I said in another post. Here is what I studied today. I hope that it is not taken in any other way than what is meant and only meant to help to build you up. Please remember, I am only his humble servant and in no way am saying that I am any better than you as I have needed tons of this myself, especially the submission to husband ones. Whoohoo on that one :) Here is my study:

Teach the word to our children, tell them all that he has done, teach them diligently, write the word on our hearts....Exodus 13:8-14, Deut. 6:6-9. Deut. 11:18-21
The result of carrying out Gods commands regarding our children: 3 John 4

Tell them about the seal of salvation, the seal of the Holy Spirit, guarantee...and how faith comes about:
Ephesians 1:13-14, Romans 10:17, John 10:27-30, 1 Corinthians 1:22-23

God gives us a template on how to pray and in whose name. Matthew.......
What does the word say about Visions/wonders? Mathew 24:23-27 & Luke
Examples of prayer in the early church...
How did God fight satan?

But all based on this belief or the person may find all irrelevant:
2 Timothy 3:15-17..... and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be COMPLETE, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Scripture about marital submission perhaps if there is division on whose church to attend/baptism and the rest of troubles in a marriage:

(1 Timothy 2:11-13)
Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to…usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

(1 Corinthians 11:3)
But I would have you know that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

(Ephesians 5:22-24)
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, and is the savior of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

(Ephesians 5:33)
Let…the wife see that she reverence her husband.

(Colossians 3:18)
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

(Titus 2:4-5)
Aged women…teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

(1 Peter 3:1)
Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may WITHOUT A WORD be won by the conversation (behavior) of the wives.

(1 Peter 3:5-6)
For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands; even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not AFRAID with any amazement. (Sara obviously ended up being a submissive wife, possible learning through her earlier mistake of leading him into bedding with her maid.)

God in no way means to say that as women we are inferior, or do not have direct access to Him. God hears the prayers of the wife as quickly as the husband:

(Galatians 3:28)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

(Acts 10:34-35)
Then Peter opened his mouth and said, “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality, but in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

Jesus was the Son of God, and God in the flesh, and yet He was not considered lower class because He submitted to His heavenly Father. He should be our example:

(Matthew 26:39)
Oh My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.

(John 5:30)
I seek not Mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent Me.

Some examples of women rejecting authority and the results:

(2:Timothy 3:6-7)
(False teachers will)…creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

(Jeremiah 44)
“Jeremiah,” the men cried, “tell us the word of God. Whatever you tell us He says, we will obey.” So Jeremiah said, “All right, God says destroy your idols and turn back to God with all your hearts” Verses 15 and 16 say: Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying, “As for the word that thou has spoken unto us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken unto thee.’ (The men let the women lead)

(Exodus 4:24-26)
Zipporah took the spiritual leadership over the great man Moses, and did not allow their child to be circumcised, and it almost cost Moses his life! She eventually did circumcise the child, but did so with a bad attitude. You will not find her listed as a godly woman of faith.

(Genesis 16:1-6)
Sarah’s unbelief and leading of her husband Abraham to sleep with her maidservant had far-reaching consequences. Look at the two nations that are warring today!

Jeremiah 17:9
The heart is deceitful above all things…
Proverbs 29:26
Whoever trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered.
Proverbs 3:5
…and lean not on your own understanding.

Love in Christ,
