Most of this Chapter will cover the opposition who see this new threat of power which The Jews seem to have as they work on the restoration of The Temple with Cyrus,Xerxes and Artaxerxes. Work comes to a stop until the Second year of reign of Darius, King of Persia.

Names like Bishlam, Mithredath, Tabbl, Rehum, Shimshai, The Elamites, those whom Osnappaar deported to Sumaria are now causing a slow down in Jerusalem with the restoration of The Temple.

This Agelong Spiritual Warfare, TheDevil isThe Accuser/Deceiver

As I study different Commentaries on this accusation in Ezra I see a common thread.

According to what Matthew Henry's Commentary, which brings out, The Accuser and with it, has a reference to Daniel 7 and Revelation 12:10-11.

This seems to cause a fragmentation within The Church, from at least two conflicting views to this division among G-d's people.

Daniel is giving his view before Christ comes while John is giving his view after Christ's first coming.

With Christ's victorious death, resurrection and ascension and with almost the exact message as Daniel, John is giving The Victory Cry over this on going spiritual warfare we have on Earth.

Revelation 12:9 Describes the casting down of all the deceivers from their Heavenly Abode with G-d.

It is because of this casting down that we have this ongoing warfare here on Earth.

Because of the overcoming ability of Christ's victory on the cross, "The Redeemed of The L-rd" now have that very same victory over the accusers because "The Kingdom of G-d" has now come to Earth. Revelation 12:10

Revelation 12:11, And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

We as Christians today, face these same accusers of the Faith in G-d that the people of Judah also were facing. Our job is not to be destroyed by the accusers of The Faith, but to stand together as ONE in Christ as also G-d is ONE.

Various commentary see this at different times within Redemptive History. The Church is fragmented over this mix of understanding, and from what I see Satan has done his part well.

We as Christians must pull together and do as the Early Church did. Don't dispute differences, but let G-d rule and reign in our lives in His love. Put off our petty arguments and live out our lives in fear and trembling of G-d our maker.
