With all due respect for you, the call is to follow Jesus, the church is a gathering place of those who follow Jesus. I do not follow any other person, or organization, or gathering, or of other followers of Jesus. I worship with, fellowship, pray with, and love my brothers and sisters in Christ. I am a member of a local church body of believers in Jesus Christ. However, I follow Jesus. If those institutions help me to learn more about Jesus and how to follow him better, I am delighted, but when they begin to add to what Jesus and the apostles of the New Testament, then I with grace disassociate with them to follow Jesus the Christ.

May God bless you as you follow Jesus.

Sincerely

Bill
