For Catholics the answer is Purgatory.

What is the answer for Protestants?

1 Corinthians 3:15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

You have not addressed the verse, you simply change the subject

I am waiting for something more concrete than the verses posted so far. I have demonstrated separately the verses do not support either either temporal sin or purgatory.

You've done nothing of the sort. You avoided addressing the verses I offered early in the thread and made every attempt to change the topic to other things - which explains how this thread has wandered all over the place. I challenge you to a real debate where we pick a positively stated conclusion and one of us takes the affirmative and the other takes the negative on this position and then each present their arguments for their position and present it to a central moderator before seeing the others side, then we are each allowed one rebuttal to only the points in the others position and submits it to the moderator before seeing the others. Then finally we get to post one last conclusion which addresses those points which the other side has failed to address either by avoidance of invalid arguments and again submit that to the moderator. I am afraid this is the only way we will get anyone to actually address these issues and not simply claim they have as you just did.
