1 Corinthians 3:15 -but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire

For Catholics the answer is Purgatory.

What is the answer for Protestants?

1 Corinthians 3:15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Dan, How can you so

Dan,

How can you so mis-understand?

There is no Father but the One . . . our Heavenly FATHER.

All other Father's . . . if they be legitimate . . . participate in GOD The FATHER's One Only Fatherhood.

Peter called CHRIST the 'Chief Shepherd' . . . and all other legitimate Shepherd's of the Church participate in This One Only Chief Shepherd . . . JESUS CHRIST.

You don't accept that . . . though it is very Scriptural . . . but you should not 'not be able to understand it'.

As to the Keys . . . Scripture again being very very very clear . . .

Matthew 16:

"19 And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven."

You don't accept that . . . though it is very Scriptural . . . but you should not 'not be able to understand it'.

You also don't believe in 'handed on by laying on of hands' Apostolic succession . . . that's your choice.

I could quote Scripture to you . . . but you do not believe it as I do and so you would choose to interpret it another way . . . a way that gives you authority . . . but a way that denies the same authority to the Church.

I must go with the Church.

. . . but . . .

GOD Bless you and GOD Bless us all.
