1 Corinthians 3:15 -but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire

For Catholics the answer is Purgatory.

What is the answer for Protestants?

1 Corinthians 3:15
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Let's say this . . .

Let's say this . . .

Let's say that CHRIST brought us back to Adam . . . to a state of Sanctifying Grace . . . with the possibility of Adam attaining much more . . . if he had not fallen . . . we now being restored to Grace . . . but fighting for our Eternal Lives in CHRIST.

Adam was supposed to do . . . in the beginning . . . Adam was supposed to do some great things . . . Adam was going to make use of the 'Free' Gift of GOD's 'Sanctifying Grace' . . . to do some great things . . . earning Heaven and Eternal Life as a reward . . . if He had chosen GOD and passed the test.

Just because Adam didn't know all the details, does not keep from him the responsibility for his actions nor does it keep from him the reward for His 'Yes!' to GOD in fulfilling the responsibility which GOD had given Him . . . if He had accomplished this.

Just because CHRIST restored to us the Gift of Sanctifying Grace . . . and no mere man could do this . . . not you . . . not me . . . not Adam . . . not Mary . . . not anybody except the SON of GOD and SON of Mary could do this . . . after Adam having lost the Free Gift which was above His Nature . . . CHRIST having this Grace by HIS Divine Nature . . . just because CHRIST did what only CHRIST could do . . . CHRIST Being Divine by HIS Nature . . . and even though CHRIST had to do HIS part alone . . . and no one else could do this . . . does not mean that HE wanted to do it 'all' alone . . . I do not believe CHRIST wanted to defeat the devil alone . . . but wanted to help HIS Creatures, HIS Brothers and Sister, to defeat the enemy of GOD and Man, the devil . . . sharing HIS Glory with us . . . so to speak . . . if that is possible.

And through Mary . . . and us . . . acting together with CHRIST . . . all saying our 'Yes!' to GOD . . . in the Grace of The HOLY SPIRIT and according to the Will of the FATHER and in and through CHRIST . . . this 'defeat' of the devil will be accomplished for HIS Mystical Body, the Church . . . the Whole CHRIST . . . CHRIST acting in us and through us . . . and we acting in unison with and acting together with and through HIM . . . CHRIST choosing to save us with our cooperation, so to speak . . . CHRIST making our actions in cooperation with HIM, in Love, to be a necessity, so to speak.

. . . or something like that . . .

For me . . . all of this . . . 'Victory in and through CHRIST' . . . entails a lot of frequent Confession of sins to a Priest . . . which is GOD's Victory and is to GOD's Glory and is to and for my good.

Each 'Confession' of sins is CHRIST's Victory over sin and over the evil one and over our own fallen nature . . . setting us free in and through the Truth of GOD's Goodness and our guilt . . . obtained by the 'innocence' of CHRIST and HIS Dying for our sins.

GOD Bless us all.
