In the Order of Worship/Service, what is essential?

I thought I'd throw this thought out into the light of day. In our various church backgrounds, what do you consider as essential in your Order of Worship and what parts are secondary (indifferent) or to say, may help and not harm a Worship Service?
What is the main reason you attend church?

Good Point...
I like your honesty in this area. Many splits in otherwise good churches have come about over personal preference, sometimes to move on to another fellowship but not out of fellowship is the better option. That would be a hard decision, although sometimes necessary. You have a good spirit about the whole issue. I hope it never comes up.
