In the Order of Worship/Service, what is essential?

I thought I'd throw this thought out into the light of day. In our various church backgrounds, what do you consider as essential in your Order of Worship and what parts are secondary (indifferent) or to say, may help and not harm a Worship Service?
What is the main reason you attend church?

I would change
I would change nothing about the church. Instead I would just leave, because they do their thing and I'll do mine. Theres no reason to make their lives harder, I'd rather they be safe.
The change I would make would be me. I would leave and not look back but my friends and my family and my wife would have a real hard time. they'd think I'd lost the true faith and wanted to go party, whcih maybe I do because I've spent my entire life tiptoeing around afraid of 'falling' if i did something the church said was wrong. I'd rather not drag everyone down with me, so I would leave the congregation. that's what i would change.
I think that would be true worship--to live honestly.
