In the Order of Worship/Service, what is essential?

I thought I'd throw this thought out into the light of day. In our various church backgrounds, what do you consider as essential in your Order of Worship and what parts are secondary (indifferent) or to say, may help and not harm a Worship Service?
What is the main reason you attend church?

My friend, I understand.
My friend,
I understand your frustration at your local church. But do not give up hope.
As regretfully as this is to say, the best place to find God is not in our local church, but on your knees.
Take a couple hours a day, spend it surrendered to Him allowing Him to be your Lord and master. Spend it reading the word, communicating with HIm through prayer and allowing Him to use the writings of the great men of God from the past that are on this site who have given all for Him.
If you do that my brother, the Lord will bless you, and when you go into a church you can be a light of the things of God to them. I doubt they wish to hear, but do not be discouraged and continue to draw closer to Him who will be all you'll need.
Respectfully,
George
