Breaking Down Scripture Together

"Entry to Intermediate Level Discussion Group*"
Bulletin Board Updated 7 Oct 2009
Hello, My name is Tony Germain. Are you new to Bible Study? Do you want to know where to start? Is there an easy method to understand this two inch thick book with all these notes in it? Where to start? Right here! Right Now! If you are up to the challenge!
That is what "Breaking Down Scripture Together" is all about. Learning how to observe simply, how to interpret basically, how to apply personally and how to communicate effectively. It is not a difficult method and some may say it's just too easy to be interesting. The challenge is not in the method but in the outcome. Can you stretch your mind to the point that you can comprehend God's Plan and Purpose for your life? It's in the Bible, everything God has for you, the question is, are you up to the challenge? Will you open the book?
To get started, just read the Guidelines, Ground Rules and Introduce yourself to the group. To get an idea of the scope of the "Inductive Bible Study Method", look at "Our Study Method" link. After that, commence Lesson 1 and complete the assignments in reply to that lesson. We all participate, review and discuss the lessons with each other in reply. So don't be afraid to make comments on other peoples work and recieve it on yours. That's what makes the group what we are!
Questions? Use the "The BDST Coffeehouse" Thread if you have a question or need help of any sort. The "Bulletin Board" has quick notes and schedule changes that would be good for the group to know.
Well I look forward to hanging out with you in this group. Have fun! We've made a place here just for YOU!
Grace with Taste,
