The Revelation of Jesus Christ (Chapter 1)
Alright. Here we go--the first chapter of Revelation. Highly charged imagery, dense Jewish symbolism, intense cultural and religious pressure, and a rich history of literature collide, producing (in my opinion) the greatest spiritual vision in the Christian experience. If you can enter into this vision, you will see Christ.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave Him
Justin said: "The things that Jesus saw."
Throughout this book we read, "and then I saw" and the one seeing is clearly John. I would suggest that while it could be that the Father was revealing these things to Jesus, it would make sense that John is the one receiving the Revelation.
I would suggest that what Jesus received from the Father (rather than a glimpse into things to come) was that Jesus was once again revealed to His followers, this time in a greater sense of His glory, authority and future acts.
The Book of Revelation truly is a revelation of the wonder, majesty and authority of Jesus to His disciples and we are blessed when we read and hear it.
