Alright. Here we go--the first chapter of Revelation. Highly charged imagery, dense Jewish symbolism, intense cultural and religious pressure, and a rich history of literature collide, producing (in my opinion) the greatest spiritual vision in the Christian experience. If you can enter into this vision, you will see Christ.

Hey Pierre - un autre point
You are write in how the evangelists portray Jesus but might I offer a different take. You can also look at how the disciples are portrayed in each of the gospels. Par example: Mark portrays the disciples as never really understanding Jesus, Matthew portrays them as understanding but within a jewish context, Luke sees the disciples as models for community and fellowship, and John portrays them as followers who gradually have the eyes opened to the realy meaning of "messiah". Merci pour votre lettre a mon frere.
