Studying Revelation for a few years now

For the past 15 years I have been studying the Bible with Koinonia House (Chuck Missler) who is of the Pre-tribulation group. After retiring and embarking on an indepth study of Revelation with lots of research I am stuck at chapter 7 since I now believe that the church is raptured in the 7th chapter (great multitude); believe the souls under the Altar is a very special group in a very special place as are the 144,000. I cannot accept (or comprehend from Scripture) that Christ comes once to rapture us to meet him in the clouds and a second time landing on the Mt. of Olives. I have been going to and fro and have grown weary. The Good Lord must be leading me since my fire is still quite strong. So, I am now researching the early church fathers. I read a pamphlet from the VoiceofElijah.org, a group who evidently believe they found 'the truth' through the early fathers and how to understand the Hebrew idioms used in the major and minor prophets, etc. One of the things that I love about Revelation is checking out all the references in other books of the Bible

I love the Lord and the Word and I dearly want to understand Scripture as Jesus taught it. I also believe and hope that He is or will prepare me for His Work. I know that he doesn't need me but I need to be doing according to my calling (whatever that it).

Your sister in Christ,
