The Easter Bunny and other secular/pagan Easter practices

Just who is this Easter Bunny? Where did he come from? How did he get into Christ's resurrection? Should Christian's participate? What other secular/pagan Easter practices are in Christ's Resurrection? For discussions on the Resurrection of Christ then please use the Passover thread.

I am discerning something here . . .
This reveals only your attitude toward HIS Church. So, not so good.
I know you are not taking a jab at the Church here . . . correct?

Mike says,
His = Jesus
Church = His body

His church is the body that I belong to .. and it isn't good to take a jab at it ... as ephesians 5:25-33 says,

"love my wife ( and the church ) as if it were my own body ..." (better to read the passage than my paraphrase)

You might have meant something different but I am taking the words at face value...

I didn't bring in the easter bunny, the thread did.

My point to your comment was that it is possible to "christianize" pagan people like pagan rituals or pratices are.

Then you are left with a fake "just as a pretty glaze covers a common clay pot." Proverbs 26:23

That's how you can have a sincere christian eating an easter bunny with an unbeliever celebrating easter as a cultural habit!

God is good isn't He?
