Prayer Thread for Temporal needs

Maria Smith's picture

In this area, we pray for all things that we need to sustain our life in a proper manner for our families to be nourished and safe. We pray for our employment - if we are looking for something better to improve our fiances. We pray for our education, in the purchase of a new home or car or even how we will afford braces and the many other things that a family would need.

We pray to be kept from natural disasters and for those who are suffering from them. We pray for the poor, the hungry - that they may be comforted. Place your prayers here with true faith - the Lord knows what you need.

Dear Brother Mike:
Thank you for this idea! I think it is wonderful to be able to put your name in a Bible and allow it to become more personal and meaningful to you. I have come across a Bible where the publishers have developed a way to put your name, whatever it may in certain parts of Scripture so that you will know that the Word of God is meant for you personally. I thought it was kind of nice to do that,I don't remember the cost or even offered to do that but it seems like a nice thing to do.

I like you way of doing it much better as I already have a few Bibles [ my wife says more than most bookstores...I cannot disagree...I love to collect King James Version Bibles mostly older editions...note here older not rarer]
Psalm 119:11..."Thy word have I hid mine heart that I might not sin against thee". So, I will being to take a look at the Word again.

Thanks for reminding me about this. I know there are some Scriptures in the epistles of Paul that one can use one's own name in them to confess the promises of The Word of God for your own life.

Blessings to all!
John Pace
