Prayer Thread for Temporal needs
In this area, we pray for all things that we need to sustain our life in a proper manner for our families to be nourished and safe. We pray for our employment - if we are looking for something better to improve our fiances. We pray for our education, in the purchase of a new home or car or even how we will afford braces and the many other things that a family would need.
We pray to be kept from natural disasters and for those who are suffering from them. We pray for the poor, the hungry - that they may be comforted. Place your prayers here with true faith - the Lord knows what you need.
That wall is hard at times...

Glad you are here. Well, sometimes we do experience a dryness in our prayer life. We just cannot seem to get back into the practice of setting some time aside. One needs to try to remember how good you felt after doing so. Then there are times that you do set aside the time and nothing comes to you. Then it is time to sit and pray that you may hear and offer the time that seems wasted to you to Our Father that knows you were making the effort. HE will bless you for it.

Your Son taught us to pray with confidence when he said "Ask, and you will receive; Seek, and you will find; Knock, and you will gain admission".
Teach us how we are to pray in order that we may fulfill the command of Jesus that we are to pray always and never lose heart. Help JStaller, who loves you, to be able to once again receive fervor in his prayer life with you.
Grant him and all of us the gift of prayer that is our line of communication with You and Your Son in the Holy Spirit. Amen
