Those dirty creeps!

Verse 4

For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s amazing that the real threat seems to be the one who creeps in unnoticed. Did those men (creeps?) have the ability to creep in because someone was asleep at the wheel, or because of
polished and practiced stealth, or both?

Remember Jesus, He said that false prophets would appear as sheep dressed up in wolves clothing.

Saints, one of our jobs is to make sure that the ones who are disseminating “truth” don’t have evidence of “long black whiskers” poking thru the veneer of “sheep’s clothing”.

The desire of false prophets is to make a little lie look so good that it would be entrenched into the fold of the faithful…

“Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom.” Song of Solomon 2:15
