All I know is that JESUS

All I know is that JESUS really did establish a New Covenant in HIS Blood, when he being the High Priest and the Lamb of Sacrifice, on the cross at Calvary.

JESUS really did come to set us free from sin and death ... taking us with HIM ... and by JESUS' death and resurrection, HE opening the gates of Heaven which had formerly been sealed shut.

JESUS really did open the prison, the Bosom of Abraham, where those who waited for HIS coming were waiting to be released from the prison and JESUS really did take those who had died waiting in Faith for HIS coming ... taking them with HIM into Heaven ... and who are there with HIM right this minute ... even if we and they who having gone before us are also still awaiting HIS Second Coming and the Judgment etc ...

As to doing what He instructed us to do..."This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes." 1 Cor 11:25, 26

... we doing that every time we attending and celebrating the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass ... of the eternal Lamb Slain before the foundation of the world ... He having been Slain also only once at Calvary ... but WHO's Eternal Ongoing and one-time-only Historical Sacrifice is made fully present, Sacramentally, but really and truly being made fully present by way of a memorial commemoration at each and every Holy Sacrifice of the Mass ... in an UnBloody manner of reality ... HE appearing to us a Bread and Wine ... in order to Feed us with HIMSELF, HIS Body real meat and HIS Blood real drink.

That's what the Church has taught us from the beginning to the end ... and that's why I Believe it.

The Old Testament pointed to this Sacramental reality of the Church and Her Holy UnBloody Sacrifice of the Mass and thus the Old Testament, in the practices and rubrics of the Old Covenant, imaged the Reality of the New Covenant which would soon be coming with the coming of the Saviour.

This is why the Old Covenant (with its' practice of law) and the New Covenant (Sacramental Church) are so similar in our practices, Catholic Church to those of the Jews. However, in the New, the inward Spirit being superior to the outward practices and thus a Sacramental manner ( Sacraments being little incarnations of Spirit and Truth ) was born from the Old Testaments practice of physical laws.

CHRIST demonstrated this fulfillment of the Old Law and Practice and the establishment of the New Sacrament of the Church most precisely at the Last Supper and again on the road to Emmaus.

GOD Bless us all.
