To what extent do we as humans have free will and to what extent has God predestined our lives?
When I read scripture I read a universal sense of free will throughout that to me is undeniable. Scripture verses that lend themselves to a understanding of sovereign grace are few and minimal in comparison to the overwhelming general sense and direct implication of free will. When I consider this I tend to think that the fewer and less clear scriptures should be interpreted by the majority and clearer scriptures,because several verses should not and cannot properly outweigh the whole spirit and tenor of the Bible in countless ones. The only ideas that we can have about God should come from the Bible, not philosophical concepts of what God should or must be, nor even considerations of what is worthy of God guiding our thoughts, above what is written, to preformed conclusions at which we must arrive.
