I salute John Knox... courage? For insulting women because Mary made him uncomfortable? Was it her power he was threatened by, or her doctrine? Because if it was her doctrine, he should have combated her along those lines, instead of attacking her gender as stupid or frail or subservient.
I best I can see myself saluting his intention to follow what he supposed was truth.
