In His Steps

I have read this book a number of times throughout the past 35 or so years. I have an old and fragile copy that keeps switching between my Mother and myself.

Every time I read this it challenges my thinking about How I walk with God. It makes me think about Kingdom of Heaven stuff - not exactly What Would Jesus Do, but what would God have me do in this situation / at this time?

It makes me very aware of the necessity of living a minute by minute awareness of the need for intimacy with God. For looking to see what God is doing and moving in tune with that rather than just doing my own thing.
As Jesus said . . . a man must deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me . . . (my paraphrase)
