It's spring... well, almost!

Here's a peek at our schedule of Psalm study for the weeks ahead!

As you volunteer I will edit this post accordingly. You can volunteer for 1 week, or 2 weeks in sequence depending on whether your chosen Psalm is short or long, or if you are leading 2 or 3 sequential Psalms.

For your information, here are the Psalms we've already covered, or have on the schedule:

1, 9, 10, 15, 16, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 42, 43, 46, 50, 51, 71, 91, 100, 111, 119, 121, 122, 137, 139, 144

You may not choose to repeat one of the above Psalms, unless it is listed as "volunteer needed". All others are still options!

If a Psalm is scheduled for only 1 week, you may volunteer to do a week 2 immediately following week 1 if the schedule is still open for that.

My favorite

I, too, enjoy most the season of 'Passover'. To 'see' the events that occurred the last week, the Meal, the Prayers in the Garden, the Betrayal, the scourging, rejection, the long walk, the Cross and Tomb, but most of all the Joy of His coming back to Life! ?To hear the cry, "He is Risen!" and to be able to return, "He is Risen Indeed!"

As we wander through the 'vineyard' of the Psalms, we realize that what we say or do has a strong feel of Shadows of what is to come, on the Biblical Calendar. On the Future, His Birth and Life, His Ministry in our midst. Some say, in error, that Jesus was proclaiming a new 'religion', but when we look closely, He merely corrected the misconceptions and misunderstanding of the Jewish Faith. Every word written of Him was either Fulfilled Prophecy or EXEGETICAL, being taken directly from Torah and the Prophets, pointing out how it all related to their lives. Sort of a situation where God explained what He REALLY meant.

I was watching a documentary about the Jewish Faith on PBS the other night. A statement made struck me as odd. It was said that Moses, before the Nation of Israel crossed the Jordan River, was murdered and buried, which is counter to what is said in Torah. Made me wonder if things still need to be shown.
