Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:

Without using the Bible, can you prove the existence of God?

King James

I agree. I have often wondered about the lack of glory and power in the church.Paul does indeed declare that such gifts of prophecy would convince the unbeliever. In acts we read that Peter understood the outpouring of the spirit by God to Cornelius as a clear unmistakble sign of Gods will, approval and acceptance of the gentiles. By the same reasoning , is it not reasonable to conclude that the withholding of the spirit, its gifts and powers is a sign of Gods rejection, displeasure and judgement? That means, no power no glory and that is a sign that the church is dead, unclothed, naked. Reminds one of the church in revelation that just kept persisting in believing that they were rich when the spirit testified that they were poor , blind and naked.I think the mistaken understanding of faith and the take it by faith teaching has led many to deceive themselves into belieivn gthings that are simply not true.
