Forgiveness of sins before Christ died?
My nagging question is: Did the sacrifices of the OT only cover the sins and not until Christ died, rose again, etc. were they forgiven?
I know Rom. 3, 25 says: whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.
