Word split at the end of a page

At the bottom of a book page I will sometimes have the first part of a word with a '-' with the rest of the word continuing to the next page. Do I leave this word split in place or do I put the complete word at the bottom of the page?

Suggest removing hyphen

Thanks for your work in preparing books.

In the final version, when a book is published in digital format, a chapter becomes a single online page. Therefore, if a hyphen is left from the original document, it will appear as an erroneous hyphen in the middle of a word where it is not needed. Therefore, I have removed these in the documents I have prepared for posting.
