Dear God of endless love,
ever caring, ever strong,
always present, always just:
You gave your only Son
to save us by the Blood of His Cross.
Gentle Jesus, shepherd of peace,
Join our anguishing souls to your own suffering
the pain of all who have been hurt
in Body, Mind, and Spirit
by those who betrayed the trust placed in them.
Hear our cries as we agonize
over the harm done to our brothers and sisters.
Breathe wisdom into our prayers,
soothe restless hearts with hope,
steady shaken spirits with faith:
Show us the way to justice and wholeness,
enlightened by truth and enfolded in your mercy.
Holy Spirit, comforter of hearts,
heal your people’s wounds
and transform our brokenness.
Grant us courage and wisdom, humility and grace,
so that we may act with justice
and find peace in you.
We ask this Healing through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Re: Prayer For All Victims Of Rape, Incest and Spousal Abuse

Few perhaps might expect to see a solemn prayer submitted for the suffering souls of Rape, Incest and Spousal Abuse Victims. Not until one has been in such a situation themselves or know of close beloved family members and friends who have suffered the immense stigma of such a soul-wrenching traumatic event do they realize the great ineffable affliction it has on the sufferer.
As a victimized person myself of Gang-Rape and Torture at Gunpoint I know what this affliction costs and the often decades if not a lifetime it takes to pick-up and find the shattered pieces of ones lost soul. I am humbled to know in the vast richness of God's mercy and hope to carry in trust some of the Sufferings Jesus our Savior endured on His Dying Cross. Only a Divine Physician knows how to bring Healing and Hope, transfiguring our brokenness into something new if we but trust Him in humble Faith. My wish is that others who are broken in spirit in such manner above find hope and faith in God no matter how much it hurts. Rest assured Jesus Christ our Savior knows.

Yours In the Fraternal Love and Peace of Christ

It takes courage to live through suffering; and it takes honesty to observe it.
To love means loving the unlovable. To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything
seems hopeless.
