Reformed Theology: God's Grace

This discussion will be limited to the discussion of God's grace as it pertains to Reformed Theology.

So, if this approach is acceptable, I would invite someone to begin this thread by first defining the term, then giving a brief re-cap of the history of "TULIP", and concluding with Scriptural references supporting the concept. That should get us rolling.

Barring objections, I would encourage someone in the Reformed camp to please begin.

Great, and I expected as much, I was just pointing out that the claim you were making (which I think is a lot more than picking nits - since the whole system stands or falls if just one of these details is found to be inconsistent) was really an assumption inherent to the rest of the RT doctrine. Not that I did not expect it to be developed at some point but that it was apparent to both you and the readers of your posts that this was not something simply based on 1 Cor 2.

I will wait to see the development and distinctions for the ideas of Common and Special graces before commenting further.
