The question of sin

Casalis's picture

Would someone please answer this question... Jesus came to free us from sin but sin still remains a struggle in the lives of His church. How exactly did He free us from sin as He said in John 10? Surely God can give abundant grace to His children so that they sin no more but its as if though He holds back that grace and allows the struggle though He hates sin.. Could someone find a consensus here?

can we be sinless,in this world

Not a chance long as we are within the flesh, alive,we will sin...always..but..we sin less.because of the Holy Spirit within, who convicts us of sin,,,,when we have sinned, when we are about to sin...we have a mediator...Jesus,the Christ...the idea here is...we,while persueing Christ and to be like minded with Him,,,,is that our desire to sin,,,be selfish, prideful, slowly vanquishing away...but...that ole plug...the sinful flesh ,is a stumbling block,to our perfection in the flesh....thank God,Christ, took my sin,,,,I would not have a chance otherwise,no matter how morale,Holy,or righteous,I intended to be...I would never make the grade.
Consider Noah,Abraham,Moses,David, and all the Great men of Faith, close to God...still had to offer up sacrifices to the Lord...No my dear brother...if anyone could be perfected to the level of Gods standard of righteousness...our Lord and Savior..suffered and died for nothing...
Love in Christ,Jesus........Majii
