Biography

Robert Young lived from 1822 to 1888. He married Margaret Turnbull and they raised seven children. He spent his life in Scotland with a passion for oriental languages. Informally, he taught himself several different languages. He was a member of the Free Church. He made his living through books as an author, publisher, and salesman. One of his missions in life was to promote missions in India.
