Golden Legend, vol. 6

The GOLDEN LEGEND Volume 6 (aka LIVES of the SAINTS) recounts the faith and suffering of over thirty saints/martyrs. This volume has a wide selection of stories from Winifred to Eustice. Each stands up for what they believe even as they face death. It also includes the Solemnity of All Hallows and the Commemoration of All Souls. These Stories were first compiled in 1275 and published in 1470. Eventually, it was translated into English by William Caxton and published in 1483.
