Biography

Theophilus of Antioch was born around the year 100 and died in 180. He served as a Bishop in Antioch and was also an apologist for Christianity. His legacy consists in part of three apologetic writings addressed to Theophilus’ friend, Autolycus, a pagan who scorned all aspects of Christianity.
