Biography

Dimitrii Pavlovich Sokolov lived during the 19th century. He was an Arch-Priest in the Russian Orthodox Church. His claim to fame is a detailed manual for holding “divine” services such as baptism, marriage, communion, and confession. Details about the vestments and vespers and so much more are included in this manual. This manual was published in 1899.
